Learning
about U.S. culture is part of the study abroad experience. By living
among Americans, international students can see U.S. values. Students
have a distinct culture, and colleges try to offer something for
everyone. For some this means getting involved in politics, religious
groups, or student clubs on campus. One tradition many American
students enjoy is spring break, a week in March or April when classes
are cancelled. Students can choose to spend the week relaxing at
school, spending time with their families at home, working to earn
money, or traveling with their friends.
